Volunteer

Volunteering at the Wyly is an essential part of the art center’s foundation as we strive to strengthen our community through visual art experiences and building relationships. Volunteers provide expertise, advocacy, new viewpoints, skills and support for the studio, teachers, administrative operations and community events. We provide training in learning skills for volunteers to create our Wyly product; handmade journals, cards, and jewelry, which we sell to help support our programs. Please contact the Wyly if you are interested in being part of our fantastic volunteer team.

Dana Higbie

Mountain Valley Volunteer
Dana is a longtime resident of the Roaring Fork Valley. She volunteers for the Mountain Valley Developmental Services partner program at the Wyly and her presence is most appreciated by all.

Maggie Woods

Wyly Artist and Volunteer
Hailing from the Big Island of Hawaii and now happily residing in Basalt, Maggie didn’t have much time for art until about 10 years ago. Luckily, she collided with Deb Jones and the Wyly, and there you can find her, if she’s not off visiting one or more of her 7 children or 12 grandchildren.
