Exhibition: "My India: Recent Work of Dorothea Bent" -Extended!-

Exhibition: "My India: Recent Work of Dorothea Bent" -Extended!-

We're pleased to announce that Dorothea's show will be extended (by popular demand!) until Friday, September 17th. Free and open to everyone!

This exhibition at the Wyly Community Art Center includes recent paintings by Dorothea Bent, inspired by her travel to India. In her work, bright colors and patterns weave through images of ancient themes: the cycle of life and death, the precarious connection between man and nature, and love and loss. In both large scale canvases and small drawings, Thea harnesses parts of her soul through powerful symbolism and unique vision.
